Position Summary
|
We are currently seeking a full-time Logistics Engineer with Navy experience. The ideal candidate will possess at least 3 years of Logistics experience. You will scope and develop supporting data and provide comprehensive logistics planning information, logistics plans, recommendations, alternatives, and impact statement to activity command, staff, program managers, and individual weapons systems, combat systems and equipment acquisition managers. You must have sufficient knowledge to discern the difference between engineering and logistics problems; and ability to analyze such problems and provide solutions. In addition, you should have knowledge of the interrelationships between logistics management and related functions such as contract and procurement, budget and finance, reliability, maintainability, and configuration management.

Required Skills
|
- Bachelor’s degree required. 4 year degree in Business strongly preferred.
- Skill in developing Integrated Support Management Plans during the concept formulation phase of the project
- Ability to define ILS requirements for the definition phase
- Experience developing Integrated Support Plans, Interim Support Guides, and Operational Logistical Support Summaries
- Skill in monitoring progress and reporting status of logistic milestones
- Ability to obtain a security clearance
- Experience with Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) is a huge bonus
