Applied Technical Systems Selected by U.S. Forest Service for 4 Year, $5 Million IT Professional Services IDIQ Contract

ATS to Provide the U.S. Forest Service with Nationwide Temporary IT Services to Meet Skill-Set and Critical Project Needs

Seattle, WA – March 17, 2010 – Applied Technical Systems (ATS) has been selected as one of two contractors to provide the U.S. Forest Service (USFS) with temporary IT professional services under an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. The competitively awarded one-year base, three-year option contract has a potential value of up to $5 million and was awarded as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business set aside.

The IT Temporary Services contract will enable the USFS to address the need for specific skill-sets not readily available within the agency’s workforce. The contract will also help the USFS respond to temporary staffing requirements on critical projects. Services covered under the contract include:

  • Oracle, JAVA, .NET, GIS, database and Sharepoint development;
  • Oracle database administration; and
  • Information technology analysis and project management.
