For over 30 years, ATS has focused on the development of innovative and sustainable maintenance and lifecycle solutions to product lifecycle system support problems. From the outset, our emphasis has been on finding ways to make the products of the Navy’s logistics lifecycle support system work for, rather than against, the shipboard maintenance technician.
Most Operational Availability (Ao) and system sustainability problems experienced by the fleet today can be traced to a failure somewhere in the shore-based lifecycle logistics support system. Lack of onboard repair parts (OBRP) supply support is a particularly acute system sustainability problem, but there are also systemic problems with technical manuals, drawings, configuration and other types of engineering technical data. In many cases these technical data problems are the root cause of OBRP support problems, but they are often perceived as a “Supply” support problem.
ATS uses our unique product lifecycle maintenance solutions to troubleshoot and correct lifecycle integrated logistics support and sustainability problems. Most of our Maintenance Support Group technicians are former Navy technicians who have extensive experience in the operation and maintenance of the full spectrum of shipboard systems. This maintenance-oriented perspective is fundamental to our view of the integrated logistics support world and our maintenance support analysis processes.
We train our maintenance support technicians using our own in-house lifecycle support management training program which we developed from years of hands on experience in all facets of the integrated logistics support system. The end result is an experienced shipboard maintenance technician who is also trained to troubleshoot and repair any element of the Navy’s integrated logistics support system to make sure the ILS system provides our sailors with the parts, data and tools they need to restore failed systems with minimal delay.

Configuration Data Management (CDM)

CDM is a discipline applied to a Configuration Item for its entire lifecycle - defining system configuration with progressive purification. Effective CDM ensures that the defined user requirements of a Configuration Item are met.
